    Does Size Matter?

Posted by Mike Weaver on Jul 23, 2021 7:45:00 AM

Running a client first company, I’m always on the lookout to see how other companies measure up and if they are Client First.   So, what could the age-old question “Does Size Matter?” possibly have in common with process serving, well let me tell you...

Ok, so now that I have everyone’s attention, let us get focused back on business and your vendor relationships. Is the size of your process server vendor, or any vendor for that matter, an indication of the quality of work they produce for your firm? Let me ask the question another way, is the size of your firm an indication of the quality of work you produce for your clients? I am going to go out on a limb here and make a bold statement, Size Doesn’t Matter. All kidding aside, when I am speaking with prospective clients, I will often hear that ProSuit or Alphabet Process Serving, Inc. mentioned to the prospect that they should use their company because they are bigger than 360 Legal, I laugh. Don’t get me wrong, before you choose any vendor to work with your firm, you should properly vet them. Make sure they have the Technology, Customer Service, Knowledge, and Procedures in place to handle your work. But should you really base your firm’s vendor decision on how many layers of Vice President’s the vendor has, how many customer service managers, or the number of certifications the VP of HR has on the wall in their office? Is that better? Those metrics don’t get your service of process work done faster or better. How many VP’s does it take to get a subpoena or summons served? I’m sure there is a joke in there somewhere, but it sounds like a lot of red tape to me. How about you?

The truth is that Bigger isn’t Better, Better is Better! What matters is not how many certifications the VP of HR has, but the knowledge and capabilities of the staff that is handling your work. 360 Legal has a great experienced team.  Everyone on the 360 Legal team has been in the legal services industry for over 10 years. In several key areas, we have team members that have over 20 years’ experience. 360 Legal’ s team knows how to move your work from initial filing, service, to final filing of your returns and support through post service. What about technology? Need integration with your firm’s CMS? 360 Legal has custom integrations to the most popular legal Case Management Systems (CMS) on the market. Maybe you are a smaller firm without a CMS and don’t need the integration, how about a desktop app? Easily drag and drop service requests directly to 360 Legal’s Service of Process platform and automatically updates as your cases are completed.

From the day I started 360 Legal, building a Better Legal Service Company has been the goal. My vision was, and is, to build a Client First Company with a culture that provides a framework to empower our associates to deliver unmatched customer service. We call this framework, The 360 Legal Client Code.

“We exist for, and because of our clients”.

“We Honor our Words with Deeds.”

“We do the right thing, even when it’s hard.”

“We own our mistakes, we are sorry.”

“We are ethical in all we do.”

“We believe in the worth and value of every client, employee, and partner.”

Bigger isn’t Better, Better is Better! If you are not getting BETTER from your Legal Service Vendor or they aren’t treating you Client First, drop me an email, give us a call. 360 Legal, can show you the difference working with a Client First vendor can make for your firm.
